    Actually parts of LC80 ain't cheap, it doesn't help too that the car is now a collectible.

    Resale value alone of LC80 has increase, before a local unit cost around 1M now it's 1.5M.

    Guess you didn't understand. The maintenance and parts he's gonna do and replace is cheap considering he Wade it under water.

    Try to pu ta lesser vehicle to the same ordeal baka kahit isang turnilyo wala ka mapakinabangan.

    i gather, an overnight stay in a hotel would probably still be cheaper...

    According to the post, baha na yung nadaanan nila at baha na yung pupuntahan nila. So they are essentially trapped. I don't think it's that easy to find hotel on province especially baha na sa paligid mo.
