October 27th, 2011 02:49 AM #162Toyota Rav4 1st Gen, yung 2-door version. My very first car waaaay back then. Huhuhu miss ko na yun. Her name was Bully. Pinalagyan kasi ng dad ko ng bullbar dahil alam niyang gagamitin ko. Kahit papalya-palya minahal ko pa rin ng lubusan.

1st car 1988 Hyundai Excel 2dr H/B 5spd. It was basic, no power anything and no air-con. My Lolo bought it new for my Tito, who neglected it and was handed to me. My Dad and I worked on it to get it on the road. I used it for school and work back then. My first car to have a slight interior fire in, my electric fan plugged into the cig lighter caught on fire. It would have mechanical failures, so had spare parts with me in case of emergency (avg. 1 break down a month). The engine finally let go while on the road leaving a trail of smoke, just like in F1.
Time has passed and have driven 4, 5 and 6spd cars. I've had: front engine/front wheel drive, front egnine/rear wheel drive, mid engine/rear wheel drive and hopefully rear engine/rear wheel drive (Porsche 911). <<< Someday with the right lotto ticket.

March 28th, 2013 01:19 PM #167Pinakamaaga yata nagkakotse yung daughter kong 4 years old. Back in Feb 2009 my wife and I were looking at the then fairly new Grand Starex cause we needed a bigger car para kasya gamit ng baby pag out of town kami. After 2 weeks we drove the Starex home, tapos nakita ng mom ko yung van and she asked kung kanino yon, so sinabi namin ng wife ko na bumili kami ng van para sa apo nya. Then she asked kung magkano yon, the next day she gave us a check which amounted to the price of the van, tapos she told us not to argue with her dahil regalo daw ni Lola yung van para sa apo nya.

First car was a used but mint Toyota Corolla. It was given to me in high school and I learnt how to drive on it. I learned that a u-turn while driving at 40kph is a stupid thing to do.
Upon graduating, I received my first brand new car, a Mitsubishi Lancer. This was the car where I experienced a lot of stupid drunk accidents. I had a lot of fun in it.
First car I bought with my own money was a Toyota Altezza with the beams engine. I miss that car since it was really fun to drive. Oddly enough, I don't really miss the other two.
