The only major thing I had with it is the stock battery gave up already and I had to replace it. Be warned, the battery size used is DIN66/DIN74 and this costs around 8k for Motolite or Amaron. You can get Panasonic or AC Delco for around 6k.

*rcyp2007 - what fuel are you using for your Fiesta Ecoboost? The car manual states 95RON fuel for the small turbo engine. Using fuel with a lower octane rating is not a good idea as it may cause engine knock. Use Shell V-Power Nitro+ or SeaOil Extreme97 or Petron XCS or Total Excellium or any other 95RON fuel.

With regards to acceleration, Ford's dry-type DCT is clanky by nature and there is some gear hunting (hesitation) in the low gears (1st and 2nd) if you are easy on the throttle. Try giving it a nice push (drive it with a lead foot) and you will feel the car sprint off with the tires squealing as the tachometer rises past overboost (5k rpm) towards redline. The car will shift quickly from 3rd to 6th gear. The car wants to be driven quickly or in a sporty manner and it prefers long road stretches like the highways and expressways.

I have to check the stab links on my car if they do need replacement. My car is due for its 24-month PMS in less than 2 months so it is a good time for me to check how well the suspension parts hold up.
    Hi

I use Shell fuel with 95 RON as per our manual.

Ford Manila Bay uses Shell Helix Ultra 5w30 oil for my Fiesta. No problems with it ever since.

If you really want to use Motorcraft 5w20 or 5w30 motor oils, FordMaz in BF Homes have them available. The 5w20 oil is a bit more expensive than the 5w30 oil. Try giving them a call if you want to stick with Motorcraft oils. After my warranty period, I plan to do my change oil services there. I went there when I had my front brake pads replaced.

Just look at the label of the oil and make sure they meet the following standards.

    SAE - 5w20 or 5w30
    ACEA - A5/B5 or A3/B4
    API - SN

By the way, have you changed spark plugs already? This small potent engine uses a specific type of spark plug and it is 1500 per piece locally unless you source it in Europe or the US. See below:

What do you mean by "kumakalampag sa baha"? Most people complain about the clankiness of the Fiesta's transmission but it is more of the nature of the dual-clutch tranny which most people locally are not used to.

Besides, who in their right mind will ever be brave enough to plow thru high water their cars? Kung iilang inches of water lang yan, kaya naman. Pero kung tuhod na yung tubig or sa waist, think twice or not dare at all.
