October 25th, 2017 11:36 PM #6442Agree. Kahit tyo, meron din sensors, yung 5 senses natin considered as sensors.
But even the manual differentiates between the sensor, the radar and the camera for easier understanding. Never did it mention that it uses proximity sensor for this, photosensor for this and radar sensor for this. It just plainly states camera, (parking) sensor, radar etc. similarly, we use, I smell, I hear, I taste, I feel , etc, and not I sense the aroma, I sense your heartbeat. Just my two cents and not flaming.

sirs, I am seriously pondering to do this also (to waive my warranty early).
I just hit my first 2000km and my everest is just 6 months. Lumipat kami ng house near my work which severely cut down my weekly mileage from 250km per wk to 70km per week, (grabeh ang sarap in terms of freeing up time). So at this rate I doubt if I will be able to do the 10000km interval PMS but i will be forcibly PMSed every 6 months x 3 yrs which is irritating. Im a stickler for following the PMS schedule nung Lancer ko and My Older civic but mitsu honors the mileage intervals instead of just the 6 month interval. Dun sa Montero ng mother ko, they also just follow the mileage for the PMS wala naman issue.
Ang alam ko lang na forcibly PMS also is yung Honda Jazz kasi namention yun dun sa 7th gen civic forum and people were outraged.
Malamang I'll just do the 1st PMS this month and we ll cross the bridge when we get there next time.
Dun sa Lancer ko which I diligently followed yung every 5000km until naout of warranty sya eh eh wala naman naging problem (engine, tranny, e-, suspension etc) during the 3 yrs except tumigas yung touch screen nun HU which winterpine fully replaced without any question kasi common defect yun. Sana wala rin maging issue si Everest x 3 yrs.
Please advise naman po. TIA>

October 26th, 2017 01:27 PM #6447At 250km per week of usage, I would already have advised you to waive your warranty. That's also what I've been averaging up to now, maybe a little bit less pa nga. Now at 70km per week, it's almost a no-brainer na.
So far wala naman major issues na lumalabas pa sa Eve. Dati yung pinaka common yung headlamp leveling motor nung Premium users. Pero I think na solve na rin yun. But still there is always that risk of something failing sa unit mo. That's why it always is a gamble. Pero at the rate you're going, the odds are favoring you.
Just follow the required PMS based on mileage and you should be good.

i've done 26k km already no issues at all, not even the head light issue. my last pm was done at 17500km. i will not even do the pm at 27500 km but will just change the oil filter. i will wait until it gets to 30k km to do the complete pm.
