Ano bang camera sinasabi mo? Dashcam ba? I'm talking about built-in camera para sa safety systems ng Eve. It certainly is not distracting, you can't even see it unless you go the front of the car. Have you tried using one?

Front camera nga. Have you seen it? Have you used it? How were you able to conclude na distracting sya? Do you even own or driven an Everest with a built-in camera?

I dont own an everest and i feel nkakadistract sya meron nga ako backup camera pero manual checking ko pa din. Dont be offended kung hindi tugma sa sinabi mo comment ko.

Sorry paps. Mukhang ibang camera nasa isip mo. Yung front camera na sinasabi ko is hindi tulad ng typical na rear camera na nakikita ang video sa HU pag umaatras. The front camera is there to detect obstacles in front, pero wala sya display sa HU. Part lang sya ng adaptive cruise control at brake assist. Baka kaya sabi mo distracting.

I'm not offended. I just want to correct yung ibang impressions dito.

Sabi ko nga, itong mga systems na ito ay aid sa driver. Kung meron ka nito, hindi ibig sabihin na kelangan mo nang maging iresponsable sa driving mo. Tulad mo, may camera ka sa likod pero you still check manually, iyan ang tama. Additional safety feature yung rear camera mo. And it doesn't hurt na may backing-up camera ka.

Kung responsable kang driver, laging maingat, tapos may mga safety system ka pa sa kotse mo, eh di ba lalong maganda yan para sa safety ng lahat, driver man, passengers o pedestrians?

hehehehe! medyo nakakalito nga naman kasi. you really need to have one to know what it is.
yung front camera nasa windshield sa loob ng mount ng rear view mirror.
gamit siya for:
1. detecting the lines on the road when the lane keeping system is activated. pag lumabas ka sa lane it will activate (vibrate) the steering wheel and depending on setting will even turn the steering wheel to steer the car back to the middle of the lane. it will even act as a "auto pilot" as it can steer the car on wide curves.
2. acttivate the driver alert (coffee?) when it detects you wandering even if the lane keeping system is off.
3. on collission mitigation, detects the brake lights of vehicles in front.
