An engine upgrade will always cost more bucks.
I think charging an extra P30K over the regular Sport model for the extra 13PS and 30Nm is not that bad.
The 112PS, 140Nm Fiesta Sport and Titanium sedan (both P868K) already compete with the other top-of-the-line B-segment cars.
The 125PS, 170Nm Fiesta Sport+ (P898K) is an additional top-of-the-line model that has no direct competitors,
PS: I believe this is also the most powerful petrol-engined car available in the local B-segment.Last edited by AG4; November 9th, 2013 at 01:47 AM.

Subaru charges more bucks for the turbo Forester over the NA Forester. However, the power output difference is 90hp.
In the case of the Fiesta EcoBoost, 30k surcharge for a 10% increase in power and 20% increase in torque is good enough.

Most manufacturers nowadays no longer offer a manual transmission option on their high-trim models.
I think lately, the main reason most manufacturers offer a MT is so that they have more affordable models in the lineup.
Mitsubishi and Honda tried to offer a Manual transmission option on their high-end 2.0 liter Lancer and Civic models, they didn't sell too many, they eventually dropped them from the local lineup.
The driving enthusiasts who love doing their own shifting makes up a small portion of the general (driving) public.
I currently drive a Mk2 Focus Trend MT, and if I were to get a Fiesta now, my first choice would most likely be the Fiesta Trend MT.Last edited by AG4; November 10th, 2013 at 12:36 AM.
