September 21st, 2016 09:50 PM #96usually kc ung mga muffler na maiingay eh pampapansin lang, usually kc upgraded dpat ung buong exhaust system mo from intake headers down to muffler (correct me if im wrong) pero if muffler lang ung papalitan mo pampaingay lang tlga without any benefit sooo in my opinion better stick with stock d ka naman mangangarera

how do you feel ba talaga? Is it because of your sense of individuality? To make a difference? To be acknowledged? What drives a car owner to install these things? Is it something more personal.

also anyone here who knows na gumagawa ng IHE for mazda 3 1.6

September 22nd, 2016 09:35 AM #100the louder sound is just a by-product of a better flowing muffler. yung stock muffler kasi parang maze sa loob yan, ginawa nila ganun para tahimik pero na-sacrificed ang performance. kaya nandyan yung mga companies like HKS, APEXi, FGK, etc. na gumawa ng muffler para makahinga by removing a maze inside a muffler, making it free-flowing as possible kaya umiingay BUT still have to pass the standard set by JASMA which is 94 decibels only. yung mga sobrang ingay na muffler na sinasabi nyo is baka yung mga wala brand na muffler.
btw, faster exhaust velocity is another way to squeeze more torque/hp from an engine. so you dont have to change to a larger diameter pipe unless you did something that increased the air coming in too (like turbo or sc or bigger valves or hi lift/duration cams). the original pipe was already matched (almost) with the amount of air from the original intake. you just want to remove the restriction caused by the original muffler.
