Apparently VIC has shown to have the worse filter media among the 3 brands, asides from the messy adhesive, overcrowded pleating and last not but least it has several deformed pleats.
Seems like JS Asakashi is on par with Wix.

According to them it's from the authorized sub-distributor of the official distributor of VIC filters so sure original. Maybe need mo rin magbukas ng sa inyo para makita yung loob ng VIC filters just to be sure na walang doubts, masmaganda if meron pang iba sa atin mag cutout ng VIC filters sa trusted source nila para makita talaga yung totoo.

Yes no problem bro, yung comment ko is nothing negative I'm just encouraging na we should all try to cutout ng VIC filters ourselves na nakukuha natin sa trusted source natin.

VIC has already admitted that 91% lang ang pinaka filtration efficiency ng filter nila according to one of my acquaintances that sells VIC.

I think yung lukot is due to the production ng stamping ng two metal end caps habang nasa gitna yung filter, possibly defective yung nasa picture. Pero meron pang ibang pictures about VIC oil filters na malaking uwang yung pleating like yung C-306 double core oil filter niya and C-110 na pangit din yung filter pleating. Hindi naman siguro sasadyain lukutin yan chaka tignan mo paano siya na deform is vertically kung paano stinastamp ang oil filter catridge from the top and bottom metal end caps. Hindi yan matutupi ng kamay if ganyan angle yung deformity.

ID:	37844 - VIC from the left, Nippon Micro new type(They bought from VIC) & Nippon Micro old production. You can see yung pleating ng VIC filter and Nippon Micro filter that was bought from VIC has the same big gaps sa C-306 filter part number nila while the old Nippon Micro that was used to be of good quality kita palang sa pleating.
