September 23rd, 2016 03:33 PM #52If a lot of cardholders were commonly victimized in BGC, then part of their network is Shell BGC personnel. Sa Shell BGC kasi very noticesble na matagal ang processing ng cards, they even ask you to move in front and line up for card payers. Dun mo talaga hindi mababantayan kung na-skim ang card mo by either the gasoline boy who brought the card from your car to cashier or the cashier itself which is heavily tinted
Pero yun na ngs per observation, Shell BGC has the longest card payment processing time na napa-gas-an ko
Be alert if you're there

Siguro best thing to do is used a prepaid card on gas station. Para exactong amount lang ang laman ng prepaid.
BPI offered me a prepaid card kasi ang ATM is not MasterCard or Visa so pag debit Hinde pwede sa lahat.
So gjnagawa ko pag small amount like 5k or less I just transfer it to my prepaid card then swipe it like a regular card pag walang EPS sa isang store. But if it's higher than 5k nah credit card na lang ako.

Prepaid/Debit cards, however, pera mo yan. Walang incentive ang banks to investigate, they will just blame you kasi "pera mo yan, dapat nag ingat ka, labas kami jan".
Credit card fraud or any related crimes dapat magpa blotter ka agad or any documentation and present to your bank. If its the truth nareresolba naman. They will work with you or they lose your business ika nga.

September 23rd, 2016 03:57 PM #55ang downsode is wala rebate sa pre-paid card... IMHO, just protect your CVV code to avoid unauthorized purchases online...
ang hina naman dyan sa shell BGC, no need to skim that takes time, just take a picture of front and back of card (making sure to get the CVV code at the back) then buy fraudulent prepaid load sa starbucks
kaya i still vote for the CVV code to be disabled, removed, but for now just cover it with something like tamper proof tape and memorize the code if one day you will use it online...

Yun lang walang points to earn. But I'd rather have to rebates than have my card skimmed.
I was victim na before I was in the US and somebody was using my card dito sa subic to buy px goods. Standard chartered ang CC.
Them my Citibank. 3x they cancelled Ed d.my card and replace it with a new numbers kasi Lagijg Meron suspicious activities.
Nagtataka naman kasi ako bakit Hinde na lang sariling swipe like sa US pag dsting sa counter? Like grocery or stores. Para hinde na mag change hands yun card natin.

September 23rd, 2016 04:07 PM #59Bank Fraud Secuirty should observe Shell BGC talaga. I heard the mastermind of these card bandits eh. Nag-offer ng P500 for every usable card. It fits the profile for gasoline boys na hindi permanent ang trabaho unlike waiters / waitresses na may magdalawang isip for a P500 income and risking their jobs.
