September 16th, 2011 07:57 AM #321Mga sir, thanks on your honest opinions. Actually I resides on Leyte and I don't know if there are best shops wherein you can have best upgrade on lights.
Retrofit is the best option, but not for now 'cause it will void my warranty. Maybe for now, I'll just go for HL upgrades just to increase the light intensity. But may I know if there are available H11 Phillips XP, XV or Osram NB? Also in the future, is it possible to do the job personally on installing retrofit HID's and just order the parts w/o going to a shop? I have knowledge on electronics yet I'm not well verse on cars. Hope you can give me more insights. Thanks again...

Bro I need to comment on this coz I am one of those selling OEM projectors/ballasts/etc and I specialize in auto lighting upgrades for a couple of years now.
fairly priced parts?? price of any product will largely depend on supply and demand. If you compare the market of TRS vs. our local market, malayo masyado. It's like comparing night and day. TRS imports 200-500 pairs of projectors per shipment. I do less than 10 pairs every order. This is one thing. Also the retrofitting industry in the U.S mature already so nababa na nila talaga yung process. Since I started, my oem setup is already 20% cheaper compared to the first prices Ioffered 2 years ago. I continue improving on the process to make it more efficient para bumaba yung prices.
I am about to launch 3 new projectors na hindi pa ginagamit sa U.S. Well konting konti pa lang but these projectors willcompletely overhaul my stage1 and stage2 setups. This will lower my stage1 price and I will offer a better projector for stage2. I am super excited with the output of this stage2 projector coz TLZKWR performance pero cheaper prices. Ganda ng output.
Meron din tendency dito, of course not all, for people to want quality jobs but want to pay Banawe installer prices. People na nagpakabit sa akin know how I do my job and I know the value of my work. Since 1992, I've been runninga business while practicing my profession as an electronics engineer. I am also a car enthusiasts and lahat naman tayowant good prices to go with quality work. For hidretrofit.net, yan naman ang balance na we will continue to strive for.

yeah. i totally understand you garyq... nagagandahan kasi ako sa website ng TRS plus sa products nila...para kasing one stop shop pag gusto mo mag retrofit.. kaya i wish na mature na ang market ng pilipinas so more people will buy projectors and therefor more shipment and decrease in price..
by the way garyq, can fxr handle 70 watt hid's?

pilotnord: bro believe me it would be a better experience if for you if I offer the complete package. With my new prices, you might be surprised that the difference of the complete package is small vs. if you import it yourself + labor, etc. Will PM you.

My telescopic has no diffuser.
learned from it. i have the rav4 gen2 with one of the largest headlamp. ni remove ko yun headlight diffuser because that were the days i was dumb and didnt know makakasilaw pala yun kinalas ko yun "GLARE SHIELD". kasi gusto ko lumakas yun buga.
the PNP HID i have is a 55w ballast and 55w bulb at 6000k setup and no builtin diffuser. its not a 35w

Bakit yung projector ng mazda 3 koh sabog at parang walang cut off?

clear lens will give you a sharp cut-off. this is not the case on the 3s halogen projector. dun sa sabog na ilaw, check mo bro sa manual kung tama ang bombilya na nakalagay, kung maayos ang pagkakalagay, at kung anong brand. about the distance, you could check the height of the cutoff. if your windshield is tinted, that lessens what you can see.
