September 3rd, 2014 11:52 PM #71standard is 55w but on some fog lights (like the one I have it's lower than that) if its aftermarket (like euro beam driving, spot or fog lamps) I'd (myslef knowing the risk involved of burning the harness, draining my battery if my alternator can't keep up with the lights+ hibeams+lowbeams+ac+wipers+2x100w bulbs idling in traffic) put on 100w off-road only bulbs.

September 21st, 2014 11:55 AM #73not recommended ang high wattage bulbs sa plastic lens. try mo magpalit ng H1 bulbs with any of these models:
Osram Night Breaker Plus = +90% more light on the road
Philips X-treme Vision = +100% more light on the road
Osram Night Breaker Unlimited = +110% more light on the road

In and out yung linis. ayos na ngayon di pa ako nagpapalit ng bulbs.
More power

September 25th, 2014 08:59 AM #75newbie question.
how long po usually life ng headlight bulbs? kasi i just recently replaced my stock headlights sa jazz 05 ko pero after a year pundi na agad yung low beam.. pero hi beam ok pa nmn. im using h4 60/55w 12v. ok lang po ba mag upgrade nko, instead stock sould i buy branded bulbs? do they last longer? obvusly they are not cheaper.. what spex should i look for? should i stay with 60/55w or higher? and if i do go with a higher spex should i change sumthing in the car? thanks po

depends on the bulb and electrical system.
the longest i had was a stock philips bulb.... used it for 6 years.
for osram NB, the longest one i've used is 4 years...
sa HID, isang taon lang.
stick with the standard wattage or you will risk burning your reflectors and will make discolorations sa HL mismo.
if you would change to a higher speced bulb, you need to use a relay and a separate wiring.

September 25th, 2014 01:17 PM #79in addition... may mga nakikita akong 3300k brighter and so on.. does this mean safe gumamit ng mas maliwanag na bulb as long as 60/55w ang specs?
