I always used to fill my gasoline car to the brim. Car was bought new at 2011. Learned at about 2018 that is not healthy for the car. I stopped filling it to the brim back in 2018. But alas, damage has been done. My car started to smell of gasoline just sitting on the driveway and had to replace the evap canister and purge valve this 2021 or 2022. Learned my lesson and never again filled to the brim.

Symptoms are exactly what AMD described in his video.

Done at the risk of damaging the paint which can be a couple of thousand to fix?
    Not worth the trouble.
My thoughts exactly. And don't forget that shake the vehicle thing.

Have any of you guys tried doing this on motorcycles (if you own any)? Not to the point of spilling but is it bad especially due to tiny fuel tanks?

Diesel cars lang kasi meron ako. So no issue yan sa akin. So easy to wipe excess without damaging the paint nor damaging the fuel floater.

Mabawasan pa rin at least a liter hehe.

Never had a problem when I used to drive an MC in my younger days.

For my car, +10liters yung madagdag if isagad ko.
Yupp, it's just a small amount compare to the damage na kapalit.
Pero before knowing this, my reason was to save at least 5-6 days worth sa pagpunta sa gas station.

Sa Landers Caltex sa area namin lang ako nagpapagas and the distance from home is 12km.
