My main concern is not the "return of investment" time for the LPG conversion kit. It is the dependence on a specific refiller for your tank of LPG. The valve is specially made so your neighborhood LPG store cannot help you refill your LPG fuel tank. Currently the LPG refilling stations are few and far inbetween. But given the LPG conversion will let your car run on both lpg & gasoline, its not really that much of a hassle (yet).

yeah... that too. there is no list of gas stations which offer refilling service.
but considering it's 70% propane and 30% butane, pwede kayang gamiting ang natural gas? dami nun sa batangas
potentially cheaper (if you go to batangas regularly...)

ang narinig ko, if you're a taxi driver, laki laki ng savings. kasi nasa 1000/day ang gas bill ng taxi. so if you can save 100/day even... in less than a year bawi ka na.

ryan got back to me. he says LPG currently costs PHP 22/liter. compared to gasoline at PHP 34/liter (a 35% difference). that makes the savings even more substantial.

crap... really? is this already including E-VAT adjustment?
i had a full tank last week, i could've sworn it was 34-ish to 35-ish pa at that time..
although mahal pa rin mag cough up ng 30,000 for that conversion kit.

hmm. but LPG prices track gasoline prices. So.. i guess that's 36/L gasoline, 23/L LPG. difference of 13 pesos per liter. Full tank 40L (1440 pesos * 220km = 6.5 pesos per kilometer gas, 920 pesos * 200km = 4.6 pesos per kilometer).
so if you drive 30km/day, that's 660km/month or 4300 pesos/month gas and 3000 pesos/month LPG. recovery period would then be roughly two years. still a long time.
but a cheaper solution than buying a fuel-efficient car if the only goal is to save fuel.
