alas! there's not enough potential costumers voting with their wallets, to make a significant dent in toyota's sales charts.
"i have 100 cars to sell, and i have 101 costumers willing to buy the car on installment."

subukan mo yan sa lexus costumer, kung hindi yan tumayo sa negotiation table at mag walk out.
Like I said, we put up with it; but we don't have to.

But a lot pinoys have been usually loyal and blind to the 'T' badge, to the point that some would even kneel upon hearing or seeing it. Sometimes the notion becomes repetitive and boring already imo. Other than that, not all the time but here in the ph one could still associate toyota with the word 'generic' when it comes to cars regardless of what people may think about their reliability.

Yes, that's part of the problem.

But market data says otherwise. Assumption mo lang yan but majority of Filipinos do not share your views and that's a fact.

    i wonder,
how many toyota buyers pay cold cash, and how many pay installment?
and of those who pay installment, how many choose so, even as they can easily afford paying cash?
and how many potential costumers walk away, when advised that their car is only available if they buy installment?
personally, i have walked away when i was advised that i had to pay installment to get my car of choice, faster.

Same.

    😂

What happens to buyers who availed their units via in-house but within up to 1 or 2 years, cannot pay them anymore? Don't they become repo units under toyota's tsure dealers?

Unfortunately, I think that is the case.
