    for my ease of remembrance,
yung 10gen, medyo colored-keyed batman style pa ang front grille.
yung 11gen, full-width chrome front grille na (philippine models).

Non-iStop Skyactivs. Pre-MZDconnect CX5, M2 DJ, 1.5 BM/BN. All good reliable & fun cars which might be around or under 500k.

    Non-iStop Skyactivs:
    2012-13 CX5 KE pre-mzdConnect
    2014+ Gen3 M3 BM-BN(1.5 SkyG)
    2015+ M2 DJ

Why non-iStop? Simple electricals & basic mechanicals. No capacitor to worry about & does not require EFB nor AGM batts.

All Skyactivs share lotsa parts across models of various displacements. Though high compression, they won't require premium petrol unless you opt to tune these to drive on higher octane. Same oil filters, tensioners, plugs, some pads(M2 rears use CX5 KE rears).
These are global architecture vehicles....What Japan sent over are almost identical w/ those in Northern America & Europe. Outside dealerships locally, parts aplenty....online(lazada/shopee) or autoshops(Golden Isuzu carries genuine, OEM & replacement)....& should you wanna source cheaper genuine parts, you can search offshore. Sites like Tascaparts & Amayama are rich resources.
Have had 1st hand experience w/ the models mentioned since 2014. Ownership experience has been way more positive than the Hondas & some Toyotas we've had. They're nonCVT, economical, very reliable, DIYable, moddable, tunable & uber fun driver-centric vehicles.
Search for well-cared pre-loved....you'll definitely get more car than what you pay for.

haha grabe naman yung mga car dealers na yun, ibig sabihin talaga may ginalaw sila sa car kaya ayaw nila ipacheck sa mechanic

I always thought the Camry and Accord were great second hand buys. Depreciation monsters kasi.

IIRC for Camrys you want the V6 model if you want to avoid the CVT. For Accords its the opposite and you want the 2.4li to get the K24 engine as the J32A can be finicky with its cylinder deactivation feature.
