I really enjoy reading jhnkvn's practical tips on car audio.

One reason I only have entry-level gears inside the car is that I cannot maximize its use. You see, I only use the car on weekends.

In contrast, I invested more with home theater gears since I watch a lot of movies at home. It pays to have a better system. Family members enjoy them too.

    Good day po mga sir!
    I just recently acquired a 1997 Accord.
All stock po. Cassette type pa yung headunit.
Working pa naman ang radio pero mejo basag na yung tunog.
And I think meron din cd changer sa trunk?

If on a budget, just get an entry-level Pioneer head unit with Bluetooth. Either 1DIN or 2DIN size depending on the space available in your dash.

Yung mga nagbebenta naman ng head units ay meron din speakers. You can get entry-level Pioneer or DLS speakers. Component type ang kunin mo para may tweeters sa front.

Most old cars do not have stock "separate" locations as they're reliant on 6x9 and coaxials for their sound. While this may be nice before, it's not that great hearing your sound coming from your leg area. So you'll have to request your installer specifically for "separates" then slap the midbass driver in the door panel, hide the crossover there na rin, and have the tweeter up on the dash on a 3M tape.

Onga sir. 6×9s sa likod and coaxials(not sure sa size) sa front doors.
If replace ko nalang ung existing speakers with new one, magmarerecommend ba kayong specific na brands/models na budget meal?
    Thank you!
