October 2nd, 2010 12:40 AM #1536may nakapagtry na ba sa inyo nung Micro Magic na car shampoo? Both wash and wash and wax yata yun. Is it good enough? What do we need to consider in choosing a car shampoo? Lubricity lang ba? Saka yung sa mga wiper blades, shampoo lang ba ginagamit niyo dun? pwede kaya yun punasan ng cotton with baby oil?

October 2nd, 2010 01:32 AM #1537I have, their shampoo is not as bad but i would still prefer Microtex Shampoo, main difference would be around 62 pesos but i find that Microtex Shampoo is a lot more gentle and better in preserving waxes, Microtex Shampoo is just a little too strong for some OTC waxes but not a bad item for starters as for their wash and wax, i really didn't find any considerable and significant or even noticeable different with the regular carwash, but hey if you don't mind the extra 11 pesos and if you want to give them the benefit of the doubt then get their wash and wax

October 2nd, 2010 01:33 AM #1538Hmm as far as i know the APC used by most detailers here from Mothers distributor is Mark V Klenzol which is also a great products, a little below compared to Meguiars but also cheaper, if its this item
http://www.mothers.com/02_products/05424.html
then this is also a good cleaner its not very economical though
i would also agree with Wipeout but i would suggest you do a test area first with Wipeout, because Wipeout can color fast dyed leatherette. But Wipeout if on tough cleaner thats still gentle to the surface its just bad with dyed surfaces
Megs APC is also a great value, actually at 4:1 concentration you could already use it for engine detailing, 10:1 is the most economical and gentlest dilution ratio also a bang for the buck
