It shouldn't affect the durability of 476 since it not even a detergent and 476 is detergent proof up to a certain extent hmmm maybe friction? too much pressure during QD?

nice shots! well silvers and colors of the same shade are really harder to show the gloss on camera's but it can still be done but it requires a sealant for it to pop out more

Guys this is a perfect example of what can happen if you use any polish, Moms Scratch Remover, SwirlX, ScratchX and UC, Megs Step2 and etc, without claying the paint properly or checking for contaminants, or without working the product enough to properly level the paint, or dry buffing and exerting too much pressure so be careful always test it on one spot.

Hello, well firstly to tell you the truth, thats actually the same random orbital sander my BF used, and i think thats what they call the Unano for some reason i don't know why, but even if we use it and its given us great results, i won't recommend it, why? because it lacks the power to do the corrections and it jumps a lot, we had to bring it to raon and have a friend of ours change the motor inside to a motor that has a lower frequency and a higher voltage with the same wattage, the price is pretty much the same here yours cheaper by just a few hundreds, 5.5 to 6.5 inch pads are what we use with it, so bottom line if you're game to have the motor replaced and risk voiding the warranty then its a good tool for polishing and removing light swirls but only up to that ok, but if you're gonna use it stock, its still good for waxing and applying products but not working them, see if you use it stock, if you're at the store and you want to test it, try to turn it on and put it against your hand with a little pressure don't worry it won't hurt you, about 5 to 10lb pressure, you'll be surprised it will stop spinning, it will oscillate but you won't get any rotation, and rotation is one of the key actions to correct paint, and one other thing even when we've already changed the motor, we still had to turn it up to 4 to 5 just to be able to correct light swirls and again its still very much limited in terms of correction, but for waxing jobs its a damn good workhorse and it doesn't bog down and heat up too fast.

You should have waited for a detail seminar to buy those microtex products, we usually get granted 10% discount on their items hehe

As for the products you've bought, you only need one more item which is a decent polish like Mothers Power Polish, SwirlX or ScratchX and you're good to go, you can already go and tackle some serious defects with that line up.

Hey guys! i forgot to announce, there's a sort of detailing event at Rockwell tomorrow where our friends from Hillsborough Car Spa are doing a live detail on Lamborghini's, Porsche's, and some Rolls Royce's if im not mistaken, i'll try to make it there if i finish with my divisoria shopping early, i think edwin will also be there in the morning and go around the area, some of the products used in the details are Microtex Products. So try to be there, you'll definitely learn a lot from them by watching professionals work.

    Pics.

    Wash + Collinite 476S + Microtex NanoSLIQ + OGE

Do I need to spray QD on the MF before spraying on the paint? Hehe alam mo naman tayo kapag tamad bara-bara na lang hahaha. Pero di ko naman nilalagyan ng heavy pressure kapag nagpupunas ako with ONR QD.
