yep... im also a biker myself. Its nice to smell fresh just like in the mountains. But you have to consider not only yourself, but a lot of people are still taking the jeep as their mode of transport (just like me).

sana nalang the government would make better actions. Wala pa ata ako narinig na action about air pollution. Factories lang ang nashushut-down.

Sana mga dyip naka used cooking oil from Jollibee or McDo! That way, when I ride my bike I can smell french fries out of the muffler.

Clarification lang po, ocanursjr. Yung dapat ni-launch noong end-March is the PhUV of the MVPMAP. http://tsikot.yehey.com/forums/showthread.php?t=33667

The PhUV we are opensource designing in this Tsikot forum is not the PhUV announced by the MVPMAP, but our own attempt as Tsikoteers. We have no official links with MVPMAP. The only thing we are asking from them is their product catalogues and spec data, so that we could incorporate locally manufactured parts/systems into the Tsikot PhUV. http://tsikot.yehey.com/forums/showthread.php?t=35915

OT: BTW, I am also proud to say I was an OFW myself, for 5 years. Music titser ang nanay ko at honest gov't engineer ang tatay ko. Hindi kami mayaman, panganay ako sa pito. Pero sa awa ng Diyos, I have been able to pursue my childhood dream of designing and building my own FILIPINO car. It is a dream of many that I would like them to enjoy, too. KAYA NATIN ITO.:2thumbsup:
It's not a perfect car, but it serves my purposes, it is my OWN.

    hi guys,

is there a stamping plant here in the country for this vehicle project? or is it going to be sourced somewhere in the ASEAN region?

what concept/s do we concentrate on?
    mini AUV
    mini MPV
    economy hatchback

in any case, i suggest taking some smart, trendsetting and practicable liberties with the interior to set it apart from its other cousins in the AUV/MPV universe.

i'll look for newer concepts so we can all come up with a strong vehicle design proposal.

    best regards to all

OT: Dprox forgot to add that he is actually descended from Julian Felipe. I guess he is just too humble to brag about that. Knowing this fact, I guess you guys can't blame him for being patriotic and passionate about the PhUV.

    Hello Varga,

The PhUV can be considered an AUV but its a PhUV. It is for commercial use and it is also capable of carrying passengers for your family in the weekends. It is also very flexible that it can be used in special tasks. Talking about Jeepneys, the PhUV will inherit its reliabily and strength but with a modern taste of design. There is still no final sketch about the design but if you wish to contribute practical designs, the group would love to hear it!

Really dprox? Why don't you post pics of your creation. Show everyone the vehicle that didn't need "complex automotive manufacturing".
