    I realize that the previous link to this software is now dead. You guys can try this one. I downloaded it and it works fine, after unzipping and installing you just need to replace the dll file included and it should have a November 2005 date after replacing it. It's the same software that the Lotus Car Co in the UK is using to develop their cars. Kindly share nyo na lang sa iba including our manufacturers and academe if possible kc its one way that might encourage them to actually design cars/parts if they have these tools at their disposal. Here's the link;

    Here's the company's website;

    The emule links are not really dead per se. It's just that you have to wait patiently for someone to seed the file that you need to download. I've experienced downloading a software for 2 weeks before it completed. Then again, I guess that's the price to pay for obtaining something for free or close to free (DSL fees come to mind). Believe it or not, I've downloaded tons of CAD / Engineering software via emule that would've cost hundreds of thousands of dollars already had I paid for them. If only our manufacturers or even the small backyard latero industries were only aware of these "backdoor" sources they would be using some of the cutting edge software tools used by the Japs, Europeans etc. in the field of automotive design and manufacturing.
    Examples are CNC simulation, Casting Simulation, Stamping Simulation, Engine Simulation, Crash Simulation, Vehicle Simulation etc.

    In case you're too impatient here's another ******* download link for ANSYS
    you can also use this software for Aerodynamic Testing of Car Bodies. You need to have Bit******* or u******* installed first to download this.

    Drey,

    The new working download link to Lotus Engineering Software is at my Post #91 above. The first link directs you to this software. It's the same software when you unzip it. It has Engine Sim, Vehicle Sim, Suspension Analysis, Concept Valve Train and Concept Crank Train etc. It even has help files and manuals in Pdf format so you can just self study the program.

    The following emule link will direct you to Camtrax and Geartrax 2007 software that are good tools for designing engine cams and manual/automatic transmissions.
