not necessarily kung walang thermostat dapat di mag ooverheat. some thermostats are compound or two valve thermostats and when you remove it, the coolant just recirculates in the engine block and not reach the radiator. this route for the coolant passage is provided for for faster warm ups. please, do not remove the thermostat, unless it is broken, then replace it.

Replace thermostat, check the radiator if mahina circulation ng tubig and kung may oil or bubles (if meron, cylinder head gasket yan malamang). No need to immediately overhaul the radiator kasi baka hindi naman yun ang problem. But a competent mechanic will easily see the problem with a thorough check-up kasi.

for example, overcooling ang situation. ang nangyayari ay nagcocondense ang vapors produced during combustion...hindi rin maevaporate ang trapped moisture sa lubrication circuit at mas mausok (as per my experience)...moisture trapped within the cylinder will accelerate wear because water have no lubricating property.
overheating is likewise bad also (seized engine)..ang pinagkaiba nga lang e yung overcooling tumatakbo pa rin ang engine.
sa case nyo sir e mukhang thermostat lang ang problema...stay away from the "old wive's tale of the thermostat".....or could be alam na ng mga ibang mekaniko ang epekto ng walang thermostat kaya lang tinatanggal nila para madaling masira...kapag nasira, may gagawin sila.kapag may gagawin sila, may pera.bow!....
plus the fact na ang thermostat ay considered as a wear item, it should also be replaced...lahat naman ng parts ng makina ay wear items eh.
