pagkakaiba ng supercharger is at-start boosting na siya, whereas turbo, may specific rpm ang kailangan muna bago magboost. turbo is more efficient the super-charger kasi walang loss ang bigay nya..unlike sa super charger, additional load sya. di siya katulad nga lang ng aircon compressor...
yup 2.0 DOHC turbo yun! baka yung nagpuk-pok ng firewall, kasi para may madaanan yung pipings for intake manifold...which is mostly the case for FWD engine adapted to RWD..
may much smaller (1.8L) 4G93 or 4G92(1.6L)na pwede mo din magagamit, and it come in these variants -> 4G92/3-sohc, 4g92/3-dohc, 4g92/3dohc-turbo, 4g92-MIVEC(non-turbo variable valve-timing katulad ng VTEC/ 4age 20-valves, black-top VVT) and yung bibihirang 4G92-MIVEC_MD(modular displacement-->pag low RPM/highway cruising, 2 cylinders lang gagamitin, otherwise 4-cylinders siya)

I remember someone here said that supercharger kits costs 70k... ouch!
they say the advantage of supercharger is no Lags...
if it only costs 10k. I will risk my old engine for a supercharger and intercooler... bili na lang ako ng bagong surplus with turbo incase kung masisira...

Why not twin turbo it?
Small turbo for low RPM spooling (prevent "standard" turbo lag)
Large turbo for high RPM spooling
Or get a VGT (variable geometry turbocharger)
