All things considered.....3M or Solargard? Meron ba sila tint na parang salamin......yung parang silver na tint? Bihira na ako makakita ng car na naka tint na parang silver...

Kasi ayoko nung black tint kasi ang dilim.....

go for magic tints (ito yung parang salamin) It deflects more heat and good visibility too!

I have 3m black magic tint on the windshield and the visibility is not affected

have my ride tinted in LA cars, and im satisfied, medyo strict nga lng sa pagaalaga ng tint, hehe. tyka medyo masungit ung installer, i have installed Solargard Quantum something (nakalimutan ko na eh), Ok naman pati visibility, pero pag tlga sa dark places, medyo mahirap lumingon sa side mirrors, ung mga tipong kalyeng walang poste ng Ilaw? for me parang headlight lng nakkta ko sa side mirrors eh,

Thanks LA cars, sayang wala ba kaung sticker??

Im sorry about the installer's attitude. Per the guide lines posted on the tint room: The customers are advised not to carry any conversations with the tint installers upon application as their work gets affected. The tinters are also asked to refrain from entertaining concerns, of which, must be brought to the attention of the sales girls instead of the installers.

We had to impose this due to the nature of the job which requires focus and skill, hence any conversation causes them to be distracted. Im sorry again. Hope the tint was applied well. If there is anything we could do for you, please do not hesitate to let me know.

How do you distinguish an authentic from a fake V-Kool (VK-70)? Are these the correct requirements to verify that you have an authentic one?

    1) Since VK-70 (allows 70% light passthrough) is transparent color by default, it will take on the original hue of the car's window. Since majority of our cars have a greenish window, the tint's hue (when applied) will inherit the same color.

    2) Infrared light passthrough is severly diminished. E-pass and infrared-based automatic garage door openers only works 1 time out of 10.

    3) The tint's wrapper (i.e. the plastic you remove on the actual tint before application) should have the V-kool logo all over it.

    4) 5-year Warranty card to be issued by the dealer.

    5) Must pass the official V-Kool International Authentication System (IAS)
    http://www.v-kool.com/ias.html

Is there a list of official distros around Metro Manila?

    Thanks!

Depending on the make and model. After some years, the greenish effect of the tint will come into place.

Well you could say 4 out of 10.

Your'e right. Its not visible on the tint itself but on the protective cover.

    Yes.

Yes if you were in Singapore, Malaysia etc. But this system is not yet available here.
