There is more to tint than just heat rejection ... you need to factor visibility also ... TSER is quoted by the manufacturer ... does not really mean anything unless tested and compared properly by independent entities ...

I got vk70 sa front windshield, driver at front passenger windows while the rest are vkool oem series. Superb heat rejection. Went for a 4 hr trip from north to south and the heat didnt bother me and my passengers. 1st time ko nag long trip n hindi napagod. I fully recommend vkool.

August 18th, 2017 06:48 PM #109Hi! I'm considering VKool OEM 20 tint. Gusto ko lang i-verify kung original yung binigay na sample sa akin ng isang tint room:
1. no markings (unlike 3M)
2. bluish gray from the inside (reflective outside)
3. the film is not as thin as 3M FX series
Authentic po ba ito? Please let me know. Thanks in advance!

August 19th, 2017 07:02 AM #110Have been using 3Ms since the late 90s
To me, what matters is that the tint's color doesn't fade. Brand familiarity makes me stick with 3M... until Subaru changed the narrative because it uses SolarGard for the vehicles it releases here in the Philippines.
