Otep was 36.
Yeah. After his first operation he was critical for quite a while and all were really happy to see him get through that episode last year. He even gained enough strength to get back to doing the things he loved doing (worked at the Gov't Health Clinic, work on cars, was able to build his home, spend even more time with family, etc.).
We are all reminded that life is short and is best served full indeed. It also reminds us that at the end of the day, it's not what we amass, but what we give out that bears the real fruit.

Condolence to his family. I remember his intelligent and sensible posts here in tsikot when he was still active. I didn't realize he was that young.
