Try using your phone to access, much easier with Tapatalk. though I agree that the desktop site seems to have deteriorated.

Anyway, if you don't like Tsikot, there's AI's forum, plus car specific forums. None have as much traffic as Tsikot though. You can also try car-related FB pages but I find that those pages are way too noisy with too much senseless posts.

What are these guys thinking? I get it that the Buy & Sell stuff is probably the one giving them the dough, but come on! I feel that this apparent disrepair of the forum as well as the obtrusive ads are a big F-U to us all, its loyal members.

With or without the hiccups in the desktop site, mobile browsing has increased exponentially over the years. More and more people access Tsikot through their phones rather than a web browser on actual computers. This is not a trend limited to Tsikot only - it applies to the internet in general.

That said, it's not an excuse to trash the desktop site, and the concern has been raised. We'll see if the webmasters are open to feedback.

The one line message field, missing avatars, edit issue must have something to do with the fixes on the desktop site.

We've raised the issue to our admin on the huge ads. I'm using Tapatalk now so it's practically ad free.

That's right, it's not an excuse. I access tsikot on my iPad but still through Safari. Call me old fashioned but I'm still a fan of the 'full web experience'. That said, I always have 20+ tabs open in Firefox (8-12 tabs in iPad Safari) encompassing all the forums and technology sites I frequently visit and participate in. Tsikot forums stands out as the only one that appears run-down and neglected.

Yeah very convenient accessing Tsikot in tapatalk, walang bulagaan na pop ads or yun nga add pop up blocker to your browser.

Agree with Jut, car related in FB pages minsan facepalm ka sa mga threads. Even the pettiest things tinatanong.

Hands down, the content here is far more engaging and comprehensive than any other car forums I know of, locally at least. That's why it's sad that something as big as tsikot is not being kept up to snuff. Such a shame.

I only use Tapatalk on a mobile phone. However, I spend 99% of my online time using a PC and iPad. For the latter, Tapatalk is cumbersome to use as I have to switch between it and Safari. It's much easier to just switch tabs within Safari.

I just can't get why they won't fix the fundamental flaws of the forum software. This is not 1998.

Here they go again. Apart from the Ford Ranger ads which pop up and occupy the entire screen of the Ipad when i browse any forum, this time, it's the Oppo ad. Ang hirap i-close ng ad and I have to refresh the browser every time.

Is there a way to opt out of these pop up ads?

I have the Ford Ranger ads now! It occupies almost half of my screen. I didn't have this before though. Could it be that my ad blocker is not working anymore?

Can someone please help on how I can install a better ad blocker? The ad pops up every time I refresh my screen. It's so annoying!

For android user you can use Free Adblocker Browser to browse Tsikot without that pesteng pop up ads.
