April 3rd, 2005 04:00 AM #14Theres a lot of cheap hotels here. You can try Hotel81 which charges around S$40/night. Regarding restaurants, you can go to any foodcourt in shopping malls and you can have a decent meal for S$5. If you're more adventurous, you can try out hawker fares for less than S$5
