Ok lang naman kahit wala kang kasalitan magdrive basta make it a point that you have enough sleep before the drive.
I frequent ilocos/pagudpud and most of the time kami lang ng girlfriend ko and our dog. She doesnt drive.
Ginagawa ko minsan bago bumiyahe is to take a tab or 2 ng pain reliever tsaka coffee na lang on the go. That works~atleast for me.
Di ko trip mga energy drinks.

We made our trip and all is good. Ang ganda sa Ilocos.
Yun nga lang close ang tulay sa may papuntang pangasinan-la union road. Salamat na lang sa google maps.
Maraming salamat din sa nagbigay ng tips.

late na tong reply ko pero for the benefit ng mga gustong magroadtrip dun in the future.
ang mga naidentify kong "cheaper" gas stations e tarlac city, southern part of ilocos sur (sta. cruz town) at yung shell station sa narvacan (before the junction going to abra)....kaso sarado mga eto (ilocos sur stations) kung gabi. ewan ko na lang ngayon. basta mas mahal ang la union stations kesa dun sa nabanggit ko (about P1-2 lang naman approx).
kapag pabalik naman ng south e load up ako ng P500 diesel sa north pangabot lang uli dun sa shell near abra junction for another load good up to tarlac or nlex. hassle nga lang dahil sa madami kang stop pero advisable naman para kahit papano makapagstretch ka at cr breaks lalo na if wala ka relyebo.hth
walang kwenta ang fast & furious driving to the north kasi speed trap ang mga town propers lalu na kung day trip. tsaka mas lalo ka pang mapapagod. usually,30 mins to 1 hr ang difference between relaxed & furious drive.
