Pinaka maraming tao yung last trip ko sa boracay with the diesel org peeps. Of course nothing compared during Holy Week (dont even think about it). Even the people there sabi parang mabaho na raw yung tubig sa dami ng tao. Best time to go? For me Dec-Feb. Di masyadong mainit, konti tao. When I say konti marami ka pa rin makikita but relaxed yung dating. Kung action gusto mo then March-April ka pumunta. What I love doing in Boracay: Sailing (350/hr). Sarap nung takbo nung bangka, you only hear the wind pushing the boat and the sail. Swimming of course. Sa left side ng white beach (BS#1) the sand is cleaner and lesser peeps. Nothing beats waking up in the morning and looking at the clearest and bluest water of Boracay. Dining, we go to Fridays at least for one dinner. The desserts are heavenly. As mentioned, Jonahs for the best shakes in the island (ave.60/big glass). They also have, whatta suprise, one of the best pasta in the island. (Marinara,Putanesca>very italian). For newbies try renting a scooter and explore the island. Enjoy din. Go to the highest peak in the island. For breakfast go sa English Bakery and Tea House. Very good bfast and bread basket. Cafe Breton (the orig) started their but sayang talaga. Last time we tried it (Cafe Briezh) very disappointing. Mas consistent ang quality dito sa Breton (even sa Podium). So much for La Pinay sa Boracay with extra vanilla ice cream and nutella on top. True Food also serves good Indian dishes. Yung gelato from IceRock matagal ng wala but that's the best before. Meron na rin gelateria near BS#3. Not very good but acceptable. Gasthof near sa DMall serves good Sausages. Best meal ko sa Boracay? I bought 1 kilo of prawns & 1 kilo of medium size lobsters, hilaw na mangga, bagoong, rented a boat, punta sa Lapuz-lapuz (back side of white beach), had the bangkero grill the seafoods, enjoyed the meal with my girlfriend. I also popped the question there. 1 year later we got married in front of Fridays.
It's a great place! Hopefully we can pass it on to our children
