I thought you mentioned immig agents checking for etravel docs.

The immigration officers tending the queues were checking that all passengers already logged their outbound etravel info to prevent delays when they reach the immigration counter.

The immigration counter officers don't ask for the actual etravel QR so I guess the etravel info is already linked to the passport and will be brought up when the passport is scanned. If the scanned passport does not have a corresponding etravel record then you get off the queue to complete the requirement and line up again.

CebuPac sends reminder emails days before the actual flight for etravel, online check-in, etc.

From all my flights departing T1, T3 and Clark airport, nobody ever bothered to check etravel.

You may be right that it's not a hard requirement for now. I checked my etravel status and my outbound declaration status is still "Proceed to Immigration" while the inbound is "Cleared by Immigration".

Since we also went through the egates on arrival we don't have stamps on our passports so the BI sent us an egate arrival record via email.

Lalabas sa monitor ng immigration officer yung etravel info mo pag ka swipe sa passport mo.
Makikita mo yung reflection ng monitor sa glass sa likod ng immigration.

Sadly, hindi ko magamit ang egates. May kapangalan ako na may HDO so nafa-flag ako pag sa egates and lalo napapatagal.

Ouch.

Pansin ko din strict ang biometric check ng egates. Yung anak ko kasi may salamin and bangs. Pagpasok nya sa stage 2 ng egate kung saan may camera mabilis ang pag-take and one try lang. Di pa sya ready kasi may bitbit pang passport and handcarry kaya fail lagi dahil di totally visible both eyes. Happened both in SG and NAIA 3 arrival. SG departure medyo relaxed pa kaya nakahanda sya.

May transfer service na ba between the airport terminals or kanya-kanyang taxi pa rin?

My boss is arriving in T1 and his domestic connection is in T2. PAL naman both flights so mas malaking chance. Kung walang official transfer sunduin ko na lang para sigurado.

Merong PAL shuttle from T1 to T2.
Pag arrive before immigration area may PAL Transfer desk, para sa mga wala pang connecting boarding pass.
Then after collecting checked baggage punta sa PAL domestic transfer counter after customs , sa right side, pakita domestic boarding pass.
Then exit , nasa right side yung shuttle.
Tanong kung alin dun yung PAL, may ibang shuttle din dun nakaparada.
