ako naman gusto ko malaman kung mahirap or madali ba makakuha ng working visa for canada?may US visa na kasi ako, makakatulong kaya ito?

the big problem is not getting a working visa - your main problem is how you can get someone to hire you (there's not much jobs there even for people who live there).

i dont know about that....but i do believe that opportunity is enough...if not abundant in vancouver and toro0nto(at least where i go to every 2 years..)

i can even employ myself (under the table)..herhehrehrer...

but just dont be picky.you will survive.

I was actually talking about decent paying jobs. Toronto is the best place you can get work - but not Vancouver (btw, im canadian citizen).

I worked for 4 hi-tech companies for the 5 years that i lived there.

I wouldn't even afford to buy a TT if i was still living in vancouver either....hehehe...(although i drove a 2-door E36 and a 4-door E46 there - bimmers are major chix magnet in vancouver pare).....heehhehe

seriously, province of BC is going bad....my advice to all who are moving to canada, go to Toronto - thats where major jobs are.

one time from my last job in vancouver, we had 1 job opening and there were about 200-300 applicants. that only shows how high unemployment rate in BC is.

I would say between 15% to 30%. I once worked for a company who manufactures high laser component for telecommunications and closed down. They laid off about 600-800 employees (cant remember the exact figure) - i found a job after a month and a half (fortunately) but others haven't found a job after more than a year. 4 of them even asked me if i could hook them up in my present job.

Other thing is, they require canadian education and experience which sucks.
