1.5 - 2 hrs with traffic. 1hr w/o traffic. (remember easy driving lang yan)

pag sa slex naman ako dumaan. kelangan high speeds kasi expressway yan. pag exit sta rita kelangan pa umakyat sa makitid at matarik na daan. more fuel to spend.

in the end. i prefer aguinaldo kasi slow speeds doon. traffic madalas. pero i still get there in the same amount of time as compared to high speeds driving at slex/ sta rita

pede ka rin naman mag 60-80kph sa slex, just stay out of the fast lane (inner).

    OT
lahat ng lanes ng SLEX, fast lane... passing lane yung shoulder

    back on topic
usual route - slex-sta. rosa; do not go on a Saturday;sobra grabe traffic. minsan, kahit Sunday traffic din both going to and coming from Tagaytay
Batino exit - tagaytay highlands : mahaba and as posted, masikip mga daanan.

ako I prefer the most scenic and most exciting route... punta Star tollway, exit tanuan, then proceed to Talisay, then go up Tagaytay. mahaba but relatively traffic free. be prepared to go up steeply inclined roads though ;)

mas mabilis slex-sta rosa-tagaytay. pag aguinaldo-tagaytay naman matagal kasi ma traffic sa bacoor, imus at dasma.

pwede din daang hari then gma tapos labas robinsons dasma then straight to tagaytay.

Coming from Manila..there's shortcuts to bypass the traffic in bacoor n imus. U end up past Robinson's Imus..or kung gusto mo..u can go farther n exit to the aguinaldo highway lampas Walter Mart. Then the only traffic spot you'll hit is SM Dasma/Robs Dasma..which isn't that much traffic since it's just traffic lights..then after that, no more traffic. That's the thing about Imus..you can always go around the traffic.

Going to Tagaytay , aguinaldo highway is nice..since you pass all those little side vendors selling an array of flowers... u can stop n buy corn... pineapple... buko/buko juice.. eat at restaurants... its a nice & relaxing drive going to tagaytay going through Silang. Like someone posted earlier..at night, it's a whole different story, no lights!
