buffet will be hard since we Pinoys are very noisy
and half the table will be standing up regularly to go back to the buffet area.
I would recommend... (although I'm not sure if they serve alcohol)
Either Kashmir or Indus - BGC (Indian Food)
Manam BGC - Fil Food
Spirals also has good Indian food (plus its a buffet)
Then there's HK Master Cook (Dampa)
Do not bring an Indian guy to a Japanese resto

Avoid taking foreigners to restaurants that serve their home country food ... if you went abroad, would you like your host to take you to Filipino restaurants? ...
Indians don't like Japanese? ... Why?

I'm not too keen on buffets too but True green said that's what his boss said the Indian wants daw. Parang I don't believe :P
I love Kashmir! I thought about that too but he might not want Indian food anymore? Although my German boss prefers German food pa rin when he is here. I had him try Filipino, Spanish and Continental restos but he wasn't much of a fan so we always go Brotzeit, I got so much points na LOL. BTW where is the parking in Indus? Is it easy?
Spirals and Dampa are too far already because their office is in Ayala.
Why not Japanese? Also, can you suggest a place for drinks? Makati/BGC area too.

if we're talking about Indian from India... they likely can only eat Indian food. Even Chinese food in India tastes like Indian food
I think he's just being polite... not unless he really wants to eat in a Buffet
As for Japanese food. they find it too bland and they're not comfortable eating sashimi.
some Indians are even 50-50 on Korean food... patikim tikim lang

hmmm looking back picky eaters nga Indians that I know. Feeling ko yung boss lang nagsabi ng buffet (so pinoy to want a buffet)
I have a colleague from India, my German boss and I were talking about how sobra siya hirap pakainin and does not seem happy about the food in restos. There were several of them and they would invite me sa flat nila where they cook their food. Sayang I am too lazy to join. I used to hate Indian food but now that I am older I found a new appreciation for it.Last edited by _Cathy_; December 15th, 2022 at 07:15 PM.

Solaire or Okada then doon na rin sila mag coffee or uminom after.
Wala ba mga sasakyan mga yan at ayaw lumabas ng makati or BGC.
Diyan nag work, whole day tapos pati unwind diyan pa rin?
There’s a big world outside of makati and BGC.

Nahahalata na hindi mo nasubukan mangamuhan/work as an employee
It's normal for colleagues na sa malapit lang pumunta for after office dinner/drinks. Parking and traffic ang issue when you have to bring a car. Kung 5 pm ang time out niyo, dami pang hindi ready at lilipat kayo ng city (esp now with Christmas traffic) you'd be so stressed, tired and starving when you get to your destination. Ako kapag hindi walking distance from my office then I'm not going :P It's not about having a car naman.

Problema yung timing, it's the week before Christmas and traffic is horrible everywhere and places are packed. Anong oras pa sila makakarating sa destination, baka ma trauma pa sa traffic yung executive :P
