I think may nagpapalit ng PHP to SGD sa SG airport or sa lucky plaza bro. The max amount you can carry should be big enough. Dont worry as long as you are not carrying wads of bills that would suspiciously show up in the xray machine.

you can even use PhP to exchange, there. no need to bring USD.
as i remember, the SG airport exchange rate is ok.
