Manual Transmission Problem

Hi meron ako problem kasi tinakas ko car brother.

4th gear sa flyover kahit press ko gas pedal ayaw na accelerate. Bagsak KPH, RPM normal lang not fluctuating. Meron din tumutunong sa front driver side parang sumasabit.

Pag baba flyover shift sa primera and bigla ok naman at nawala yung sound sumasabit. Pero bigla hindi ulit accelerate and tutunog ulit. So i kept on trying moving the kambyo and ok ulit magaaccelerate hangang dahan dahan makauwi without being towed.

I remember kaya hindi pala ginagamit ito car because ipapaayos yung leak sa transmission oil seal. Nasira ko kaya yung transmission nag leak lahat gear oil? Or symptoms of clutch disk and pressure plate?

In my opinion the best thing to do is to tell your brother. Hindi naman po sa pangingialam or pagiging KJ, liability mo yan kasi tinakas mo. Kung ako kapatid mo mas magagalit ako kung di mo aakuin ang kasalanan mo.

Generally pag sira na yun tranny na manual uugong yan sir muna saka titigil or may mga gears na ayaw mag engage. May Ganun ba nangyari sir?

Wala ugong. Pero nung time ayaw accelerate eh meron sumasabit sound front driver side. Pero pag nagaccelerate na wala sound. If ayaw accelerate balik ulit sabit sound.

Nasa ibang bansa brother kaya hindi ko din masabi. Plan ko ipaayos para pagbalik nya doon ko lang sabihin after na maayos.

I went pala sa talyer pero dahan dahan andar 1st to 2nd gear lang. Sabi mechanic clutch daw not transmission. Kailanga ko pa 2nd opinion para sure.

if i were you, i'd confess to my deed, and volunteer to have it fixed, at my expense.. "kuya, hiniram ko kotse mo.. may sira pala.. kung ok sayo, ako na magpapagawa. but kuya, puede bang hiramin ulit kapag ayos na siya? i-full tank kupasya.."
that should soften up brother's ire... , and teach me a lesson... that asking permission is cheaper than paying for what i probably did not initiate in the first place.

but back to the problem..
you said there was a leak.. i would suspect disk contamination by oil..
also, baka may sira ang clutch assembly.. basag diaphragm spring.. friction pad too thin..
whatever it is, it sure points to having to open the trans housing.

may leak na daw ung tranny malamang nalagyan na ng gear oil ung clutch disc at pressure plate.or baka natanggal na rematche.ng clutch disc at un ung sumasabit sa flywheel.
