July 28th, 2018 05:40 PM #31Actually i brought my car at shell service center in cavite when i my car reached 40,000 odo but the chief mechanic told me that I should reach to 50k for the change ATF. anyway, what would be the possible problem in the transmission in my car's case? i think the problem is not yet fatal but i need to bring it to an expert before it get worse.
i no longer visit honda here in dasma because of the negative experience before with my brakes.
thanks

July 28th, 2018 06:11 PM #36Curious question, why are you and your mechanic saying it is ATF?
Isn't the Honda City since 2006 a CVT? Thereby requiring Honda CVTF replacement.
And like StockEngine has said, it is your car. If you don't want to have it checked by Honda, just be prepared with your checkbook to pay for possible repairs the more you prolong and delay Honda servicing the vehicle.
If Honda Dasma is not a place you are comfortable with, better look for another Honda Service Center then.
My two cents.

Would appreciate any help.
