November 10th, 2019 04:51 PM #147But then again, this Hilux now has a proven track record in government service and various corporate fleets. There should be no problem with parts and maintenance in the long run.
What I'd like to see for a low cost PUV, would be the high roof NV350 Cargo. I wonder if Nissan would be able to pull this off. They wouldn't need to do much.

November 10th, 2019 06:39 PM #149So, toyota shortened the rear cabin that is fabricated here just to have the tag of 'less than 1m php class 1 modern puv'?
It really doesn't look like a functional 12 seater no matter how you look at it. Maybe if everyone riding it has about 0.40meters of shoulder width only... Hehe.
But this is just a big head scratcher.
The minibus looks to be the better choice to ride more people and practical seating/comfort. The beep bus that is already plying some routes in the metro.
With that hilux, are they planning a SWB and LWB for the 12 seater and 15/18 seater options? Because i have no idea who would be the operator who will buy it for 'practicality', except maybe if it is subsidized or put on a 'madness sale'.
