i used to believe on to this kaso per experience hindi pa. NLEX i tried max 160, cruising on 100~140. Sa SCTEX ako nakakababad (goin subic), 195 max usual cruising 100~140. Pansin ko lang when i stay & dine sa mga gas station me "OVERTIME" yun exit ticket/receipt ko.

Confirmed din walang speed radar from Balintawak to SCTEX exit sa NLEX. Pati sa SCTEX then yung dulong exit papuntang macarthur. Both morning and afternoon, tamad siguro kasi mainit. Hahaha.

Merun din paminsan minsan (saturdays usually) between 7-10am. Naka standby sila after Sindalan exit (space after a bridge before the Shell gas station sa Manila bound side). Huhulihin ka nila sa Angeles or Dau exit.

last black saturday I was driving around 120kmh sa SCTEX going to luisita exit ng may napansin akong Strada from my side mirror ang bilis. probably doing 150kmh. pag dating sa luisita exit nakita ko sya kausap na ng mga enforcer. natyempuhan siguro..

Nakatambay kasi sila usually sa taas ng bridge ng Concepcion exit or sa ibaba ng bridge na 1 or 2 bridge before the exit ng Luisita. So nanghuhuli sila pag exit mo ng Luisita or sa dulo (Tarlac-Zaragoza exit).

I didn't go below 140kph the whole stretch of NLEX, especially SCTEX. Sa sobrang luwag, 140kph felt like I was running 80kph. Even their patrol cars were doing more than 100kph. May iilan nagovertake sakin.

Pero meron nag-overtake sakin Navara while I'm around 150kph then. Tapos sumunod ako, pagdating ng overpass. Preno siya ng malakas siguro to go below 100kph so I did the same. Nung paglagpas ko, may nakatayong lespu dun. Wala speed radar though, pumupwesto palang siguro.

Hindi puede ang radar pagmoving din siya...it only works if they are stationary and the culprit is moving. Ang puedeng humuli sa inyo is the hagad (motorbike patrol nila) if moving ka. Pero lately wala na akong nakikitang bike patrols.

The speed reading from a radar gun is "relative" to itself. So it has to be taken from a stationary position. If the gun is moving, then the reading will be the speed difference between the two vehicles.
