LTO car registration and late registration fees

Planning to have my next registration transferred to a new venue, Would like to know corresponding process ( Documents needed and fees ) and to avoid possible late registration. My registration month is March and from Pasay to Imus. Will it takes time? TIA

Good day Tsikoteers!

It's my first time to do a Car Registration and Late na din po ito (Feb pa dapat) since I initially planned to sell the car.

Anyway, ano po ba ang process or steps na dapat ko sundin? medyo di ko pa din makuha ng 100% kung paano after reading instructions from LTO (emission, tpl, etc). Plano ko din ipalipat na sa name ko yung kotse (Mazda 323 Familia 97). PLano ko din sana kumuha ng Fresh Copy ng Plaka kasi medyo luma na itsura ng plaka (pwede ba yun?).

Pwede po ba kayo maglagay ng step by steps process for it?
Yung parang Idiot's Guide hehe

Ito po ang meron ako sa ngayun:
1. OR/CR
2. Deed of Sale
3. Photo Copy ng ID ng 1st Owner
4. TPL

ingat sa late registration.. malaki na multa pag nahuli kayo driving with unregistered motor vehicle.. Php10,000.00 impound pa...

for change of name.. kailangan nang PNP clearance.. so get this first.. then go to the LTO office where vehicle was originally registered (nandon kasi yung papers nyan).. bring the car kasi kailangan nang stencil.. then present the OR/CR, Deed of Sale, ID nung previous owner and ID mo.. photocopy mo lahat.. this will take around 2 to 3 hours or more depende sa dami nang tao.. then pag na change mo na name.. pwede mo na ipa renew registration.. para nasa pangalan mo na.. for renewal of registration kailangan nang emission test and TPL.. pwede mo na din sabay to sa change name..

Kailangan pa rin bang sa LTO form mismo i-stencil ang engine & chassis numbers?

Ang hirap kasing i-trace ng engine number kung dun derecho sa form, laging butas yung papel o di rin mabasa.

Afaik pwede sa labas pa-stencil. Yun sa insurance ko sila na nag-process lahat basta sa kanila mo kukunin yun insurance, aabutan mo na lang yun mag-stencil saka papa-emission mo. Some vehicles eh mahirap i-stencil. Ang ginagawa ng taga-stencil eh gumagamit ng carbon paper, kinikiskis sa engine number tapos scotch tape para makuha stencil. Mas malinaw at malinis pag nilagay sa form

Mother file is in Taguig.. but I want to register it here in Marikina for covenience this month. pwede ba yan change venue or do I have to go to Taguig? Thank you for your inputs.

you can renew registration anywhere in the country. same price, plus 100 bucks yata for change venue fee.
