As the good sir Egan mentioned, study the DMV manual cover to cover. You'll be fine.

I have driven in SG before when i was still there. For foreigners, theory test then convert to drivers license na. For locals, Theory test then Practical test.
Biggest challenge was i had to drive on the left side. And the gear stick was on my left. Yep i had to drive a manual transmission car.
Road signages where abundant and clear. I rarely use GPS since i knew the roads quite well.
I heard the practical test done by the DMV in US is difficult to pass. Goodluck Cathy!

Dami ko kilala sa US na hindi take 1 in getting a US license kaya kinakabahan ako. Yung sa Pilipinas kasi, walang bumabagsak, nakapaskil ba naman sa wall ng exam room ang sagot
Practical exam wala man lang parking test.

Hehe.
Officer: do you know you are allowed to drive in here... You'll be spending the night in jail. Hands in the air.

In TX, nakapag drive narin ako and allowed.
Kaso since US is federal, iba iba rules per state kaya nilinaw ko lang din.
