Yes, but not because of Air Pollution Law but moreso because of Solid Waste Law. Segregate and use compost pit for degradable wastes. Sec. 48, par. 3 of R.A. 9003 prohibits the open burning of solid waste defined as “all discarded household, commercial waste, non-hazardous institutional and industrial waste, street sweepings, construction debris, agricultural waste, and other non-hazardous/non-toxic solid waste.”
Bonfires if occasional like celebrating something big... I think allowable, may alam ako na hindi naman nakakasuhan eh.

August 21st, 2022 12:23 AM #64in my opinion,
we shot ourselves in the foot, with that law.
btw,
nag-susunog pa ba nang after-harvest diyan sa nlex?
we were caught in one such, when the winds changed direction.
we were driving so slowly, and expecting to get bumped from behind during the entire episode.
every other car was flashing his hazard lights; it was confusing, as the lights from different cars were overlapping into each other, so's we couldn't figure out in which direction the cars were going. dapat talaga, regular tail lights lang ang payagan.Last edited by dr. d; August 21st, 2022 at 12:37 AM.
