January 15th, 2021 12:58 PM #16i am registering my car next month.
shall i go to the new MVIS? saan sa metro manila?
should i go straight to LTO, as before?
i read this story about a motorist who went to the new MVIS facillity.
after undergoing the testing and paying,
he found out that he couldn't use the info, as the facility was not yet connected to the LTO.
i am wondering,
will there be acceptable tolerances for wear and tear?
or will they require the old car must be in brand-new condition?Last edited by dr. d; January 15th, 2021 at 01:01 PM.

January 15th, 2021 01:22 PM #18i find it strange, that car components that are not required by law, are being inspected and graded, as per the list above.
for example, are odometers, windshield washers, aircons, and interior lights required by law?
i am also wondering,
how do they evaluate undercarriage parts?
will there be special instruments, or will it be via the traditional grab-and-shake method?Last edited by dr. d; January 15th, 2021 at 01:26 PM.
