kung meron man same body pa din but upgraded vnt 2.5L turbo (new 142ps---old 102ps) bigger disc brakes and revised suspension...expect higher price

mga sir please help. i owned a 2006 fort 2.7vvti at ngayon lang ko na encounter ito, nag check engine ang fort ko while running at only 40kph
then parang mabubulun kaya pedal ako ng pedal pro bag break ko lumalabas uli check engine. is there any one na naka encounter nito? please share to me kung ano ang ginawa nyo thanks guys and good luck to all of us mga tsikoters

Try to check the spark plugs. There could be moisture in it.

errr...
your question is so wide-meaning...

what's your current fuel consumption figures, po? kasi, gasoline fortuners, compared to some cars, are not generally known to give high km/li numbers.
and, how did you decide that your power is down?

perhaps if you go into more specific description...?

Our family has a 2008 Fortuner gas.
Fuel consumption is really bad. My average is 4-5km/L in pure city driving. around 8km/L in mixed highway/city.

Try to have all filters changed, oil change, clean throttle body.

Yikes!

The 2.7L 2TR-FE is known to be a guzzler, unfortunately. Kailangan pikit-mata ka nalang sa pump tuwing nagpapa-gas.

But it is a 20+ year old design... It came out when gas prices were just in the P20-23 per liter range.

Pahingi naman po ng payo, plano po kasi naming bumili ng Fortuner 2.7 A/T 4X2 bago matapos tong taon na to. Ang sabi po sa site 1,414,000 price niya. Magkano po kaya makukuha naming discount kung cash kami magbabayad? At magkano po yung insurace at registration? Isa pa po sa iniisip namin kaya Fort ang pinili namin dahil sa tingin namin kaya niyang lumangoy sa baha, di po ba pag napasok na ng tubig yung exhaust tip makakasira na yun sa engine? Tsaka, mayron na po bang iPod connectivity ang Fort? Maganda po ba yung sound system niya?

Ahehehe. Pasensya na po sa napakadaming katanungan. 1st time lang po kasi namin magkaka auto, at super excited na kaming magkakapatid. Maraming maraming salamat po!=D
