I was browsing through the internet and just so happend to see the price of FORTUNER in Malaysia and the 2.7 VVTi is more expensive than the 2.5 Diesel...

Bakit kaya sa Pinas its the other way around ????

months pa din sa Toyota Makati and Bicutan. In the other dealers, if you know someone its just two weeks or so.

BTW, Toyota Makati and Bicutan are honest dealers of course since they are owned by Toyota. They will never demand any add-ons from you. Depending on the agent, some may ask for a downpayment for you to be placed in the "list"(yeah right what list?) and some wont require any down to include you in it. The downside, your reservation will take months and months, if not a year to process. The sales agents there wont be calling you for months on end, with any sort of updates or news at all. It is in your interest to keep on pestering them daily and let them know you are still alive.

On the other hand, if you go to the other dealers, the only recourse to get a unit is by accepting-or more like swallowing-their preposterous offer to you of lots of accessories or add-ons (tv,dvd,leather seats,gsm alarm,etc),insurance, and financing+chattel mortgage, which can all inflate the sticker price by Php250,000+. No that's not a joke or exaggeration. A dealer just quoted me that two days ago. All I can say is -go to hell-.

guys got my fortuner 4 days ago its black mica 4x2 diesel

i already installed hid from IWC , cargo tray , muffler cutter , sparewheel lock (courtesy of IWC) , oem turbo timer bought from IWC , nitrogen x 4 tires , stebel horns , beige rubber matting from concorde and its ready to go.

all fortuner owners pm tsikot member IWC for fortuner accesories and hid they give good warranty to all their products..

oem turbo timer = PM IWC FOR THE PRICE
sparewheel lock = PM IWC FOR THE PRICE
muffler cutter = P 600.00+ CASA

Hi, Im new here and I've been reading your thread regarding the fortuner features/prices/etc since early January. I can say that it really encouraged me to decide and buy one for me. Btw, it took 1 month for the unit to be release.

I just have a few questions and im hoping i could find answers here:
1. HID - san po ok magpakabit and how much? di ba kasi ung headlights nya hiwalay ung low sa high? so pano gagawin dun?

2. IPOD interface - wala bang prang connection s likod nung head(default)
pra sa ipod. May nabsa akong thread about PIE, kso i find it expensive. hehe
meron bang mas mura and kung wala san pwede pakabit nung PIE and how much na den?

3. Seat cover and matting - san po ok na bumili ng mga ganito. how mch ung price range?
