So does that mean that it's very easy for the spare tire to be stolen?

i think the new D4D is already in use in some countries mga 2003 pa, last year naging popular because of the IMVs .. i think mas though na ito dahil sa price gap pa lang ng 3.0 diesel fortuner and 2.7 gas eh ang laki hehe.. saan napunta yung price gap? engine and 4x4 setup..

Thanks for the comments. I totally understand it. The problem is that, me dad is stubborn and I cant do anything about it. I guess its because of expereince na din. Yung Tamaraw namin na 1983 ay napa over haul na for I think 3 to 4 times. Medyo madami nang bread na na-spend sa fiera na ito. In fact up to now, although rarely ginagamit, ay buhay pa din. Ito yung kotseng need to press on the GLOW button and count from 1 to 15 or 20 para mapainit ang starter compare to now na automatic na. How technology advanced.
I actually made a feasibility study (below) with estimated amounts sa gas:
Fortuner 3.0 Diesel Fortuner 2.7 Gasoline
4x4 4x2 Difference
Initial Cash Out 1,573,000 1,268,000 305,000
Est Consumption 7.0 kms per liter 5.5 kms per liter
In every 100 km 14.3 liters/100kms 18.2 liters/100kms
Fuel Cost P443.3/100 kms P655.2/100 kms P211.9/100 kms
Assumptions: Diesel 31.00 per liter; Gas 36.00 per liter
Although, the study is not too complete because I lack data that must be included like the maintainance (part, 5000 check ups, etc.) amounts for Gas and Diesel. So I really can't come up with a final conclusion of which one really, in the long run, is more practical, affordable, and best buy. Dont know if anyone here can help me out on these remaining data.
Well. I hope I can still convince my parents, specially dad on this.
Thanks!!
God bless!!!

Kaya lang, mas konti ang 2.7G variants delivered in RP, kaya mas mahaba pila.

October 8th, 2005 06:08 PM #1010I also made a computation at 250km/week. at current price difference of P 2.70, 6.3km/liter gas & 8.6km/liter diesel. plus additional 7T insurance for 3.0, it would take me 21 years to offset the 300,000.00 pesos difference.
But if you want 4x4 then gofor the 3.0 diesel.
