"super bright white" may look nice! (HID feeling kasi pag titignan) but you can't hardly see on the road especially this rainy season. baka naka tint ka pa sa harap paps? you can improve your lights by upgrading your bulbs into HIGHER but PROPER WATTS para walang malusaw sa headlights mo or magkaroon ng yellow stains. and AFAIK, lahat ng Revo is H4 bulb type. meaning, high and low beam in one bulb. I am a HID user before. binalik ko halogens ko nung panay na ang ulan. iba pa din pag halogen kapag basa ang daan.

August 2nd, 2011 10:04 PM #258Baka gusto mo gumamit ng All Weather headlight bulbs like those from Narva. We use that in our Trooper, maliwanag yan at all weather visibility talaga. Yung Revo SR mo ba yung frosted headlamps pa o multireflector na? I am fine naman with the visibility from the headlamps of our 2001 GLX kahit halogen lang kapag nakabukas naman yung yellow foglamps sa gitna. Kung 1st gen SR yung iyo, you have provisions naman for an extra pair of foglamps in your bumper diba? You can install the stock foglamps of the 2nd gen in there. Ganun siguro magandang maganda na ang visibility. Or even better, you may also opt to change the frosted headlamps to multireflector (na same shape parin) na custom made ata. Ang dami ko na nakitang gumagawa ng ganon, saan ba yan ginagawa?

August 6th, 2011 09:48 PM #259Just changed the wipers of our Revo to banana type wipers today. As far as I can tell, the old wipers were the ones that came with it from the showroom... ten years ago. And the visibility was very terrible during rainy days. The banana type wipers made all the difference! I was lucky enough to get it for just 300/pair as from a friend who has a shop in Banawe.

August 13th, 2011 07:18 PM #260Finally had the Revo's smoke belching problems addressed. And they did that by replacing the nozzles. However, even if the smoke has significantly decreased, I noticed that there is still a good deal of smoke especially I reach higher rpms at 3rd gear and above. Why is that so? Is it because I have to clean my tailpipe? Or is there any other reason for the smoke belching?
