makikigaya lang ako sa MAC sa kabilang thread http://tsikot.yehey.com/forums/showthread.php?t=21509
very helpful yung info nila sa current and future adventure owners..
dito naman eh puro revo defects..
let me start for my 2003 Revo GSX 2.0 gas M/T
factory defect
1) aircon busted, leak on upper aircon hose at 15T km odometer/1.5years - toyota replaced the rubber hose and freon free of charge
2) moist on LH foglight after 1 year/10Tkm odometer - casa replaced it for free
3) back door noise/squeaks - for me, NOT a factory defect - kelangan lang regular ang paggamit ng WD40 or grasa dahil natutuyo and kelangan i-adjust ng tama yung hinges..

this is for my Dads 2000 Revo GL 2.4 diesel M/T
factory defects
1) Voltage regulator - (after 1 year) relay type on black metal box, casa replaced it free
2) Water leaking rear windshield/backdoor (after 2months) - casa resealed the rear windshield and replaced the damaged rear siding
Repairs done
1) sanden compressor outer bearing nasira (after 4.5years/75T km) - cost me 2K to replace/repair sa sanden quezon ave .. taga dito
2) nabutas muffler sa lugar ng rear wheels (after 4.5 years) - mga 2meters yata yung pinalitan sa nodalos
3) nag wiggle yung sanden compressor (after 5years/90T km) pero malamig pa din - beyond repair na, suspect ko is masikip yung aircon belt nung inadjust just a few months back lang.. cost us 5.5K for a surplus denso compressor including freon from Mang Mario ..malamig na ulit..
4) nabutas denso radiator ((after 5years/80T km) - overhaul at hinang sa shop ni zeagle .. mga P1.6K din yata gastos
5) nag-stockup yung right front disk (after 5years/90T km) - used a brake cylinder repair kit from casa
pero all orig pa rin ball joints nya and all underchassis parts..

yung sa akin naman (revo diesel), yung vacuum switching valve (VSV) which is responsible for controlling the engine rpm and increasing it kung naka-on yung aircon... yung nangyari sa akin nai-i-stuck yung rpm doon sa high-level kahit na naka-off na yung aircon, happened intermittently for a while and casa had difficulty determining it... good thing lumabas yung problem right before mag-expire yung warranty kaya kahit out-of-warranty na yung ride ko nung ma-determine nila yung sira.. covered-pa rin ng warranty

i had a 2002 glx gas m/t, used it for almost 50,000 kms with no problems at all.. i got a regular 10-11 km/ltr using the top-off method and casa maintained all the way until i sold it last year.. very reliable & comfortable workhorse indeed..
edit: the only major expense other than regular maintenance were the brand new battery and new set (4pcs) of ducaro trinuum good year tires i installed a few months before i sold it.Last edited by slamtaz; September 10th, 2006 at 01:08 PM.

Up ko lang ang thread na ito.
Any suggestion on how to improve the fuel economy ng Revo VX200 Automatic or talagang gnoon na talaga ang fuel consumption nya? My average is 5.5-6.5 km per liter city driving.
On the other side naman, malakas tlaga ang hatak ng VX200.Hindi ka mabibitin...mabibitin lang sa gas..tos.
Nakakapanibago kc, gamit ko kc dati diesel engine.

i had the revo dlx for 5 yrs at 72k on the odometer before i sold it.
defects would be:
1. back door noise
2. lakas sa gas
3. mataas ang emmision rating. i usually get 3.5 -3.7.
