Hello, new Innova owner here and recently signed up on this site.
Natutuwa ako at dami ko nalalaman dito sa site na to at ung unang thread na binabasa ko, haba na, eto siguro ung continuation. hehehe.

Innova G A/T Diesel ung kinuha namin. Financing sa Toyota. Dami pala paper works pag ganon.

Concern ko ngayon ay accessories at pag-aaral ng features ng Innova.
Una, parang alang "overdrive" button or baka indi ko pa nakikita.
Tapos, me ECT button daw accdg sa specs, pero wala rin ako makita.
Me pagkakaiba ba un?

Accessories na priority ko ngayon ay:
1) Entertainment System (Monitor, TV, DVD, GPS, Backup Camera, Headrest monitor)
- Me nagbebenta sa min nito, kumpleto, about P38k. Pinag-iisipan pa. Pero mukhang okay, kasi sabi, magagamit pa rin ung control sa steering wheel at talagang pang Toyota ung HU.
2) Stepboard (Pde kaya ung parang tube ng Montero dito sa Innova? Kung meron, san kaya meron? Aside dun sa parang tube, meron pa ko nakita na magandang stepboard, hinahanap ko lit kung san ko nakita, no luck, pero post ata un ni Mam Liv)
3) Spoiler (dami pagpipilian store, pero mapapa-isip ka kung bubutasan )
4) Leather seats (sa mga nabasa ko dito, okay daw ung sa Lederland, West Ave.)
5) Roof Rack

help!, please i need comments. My innova d4d, odo reading 18k, 8mos old, all stack, is doing 78kph * 2000rpm & 95kph * 2500rpm , is this normal? thanks guys

i also have these figures, since new, 5 years ago.. so yes, this is normal.

Hmm . . that's weird, mine is D4d as well. 4 months old. *2500 rpm, I'm already running at close to 120 kph. *3000 rpm, close to 140kph na.

To neoscript, is your innova manual or automatic transmission? I remembered that somebody has posted this question before in this forum, and I think this concern is prevalent to manual transmission innovas owners and I think the solution is just a matter of proper timing of shifting. Just back read to look for that conversation, maybe the experts here could enlighten us on this part.

Mine is automatic maybe that's the reason why I have the figures above.

Overdrive ussually is just a downshift, so downshifting to 3 should do the trick. The D4d engine is powerful enough though and you may not need this anymore. What's ECT?

G d4d owner here, and I absolutely agree with you coolman, try having one trip with at least 2 kids onboard...nakaka-frustrate, wala kang gagawin kundi bantayan ang galaw nila, esp. now nag-uulan? tsk, tsk, tsk...but all that extra effort of cleaning the interior is worth it, just to see them appreciate the trip...maluwag kasi yung 3rd row, ginagawang playground palagi (even small adults like me)

pero i think that 100k worth of add-ons are really worth it, i just love the steering wheel-mounted controls and esp. the MID...

Bout don sa concern ko. Meron na nga ba na HU na nabibili na pde pa rin gumana ang controls sa steering wheel? Nagtatanong na ung nagbebenta kung kukunin namin. Katakot naman baklasin tapos baka magka-problema. Tapos mawalan ng use ung control sa steering wheel.

When you travel say at edsa for example, wherein the road is not smooth, what noise do you hear from your innova that is irritating? How do you know if its "kalampag" or if its normal?

To those who have VVTI engines, how quiet is your engine when its in idle mode and when its running, say, from a scale of 1-10? feeling ko kasi mejo maingay yung sa innova namin, i dont know if its normal, or how do you know kung may butas sa muffler, or ifts coming from the engine mismo?
