hi fellow innova owners.

I've just had my 2nd full tank today since I acquired my Innova G Diesel Manual last week. Fuel consumption is approximately 8.08 km/ liter. May i know yours? What's the normal fuel consumption? Thanks in advance

We've got almost the same figure. Mine is VVTi G M/T. That's my average consumption for one week. May mga araw na 11km/l, may araw na 9km/l, 7km/l, and so on. So my basis is the average for one week (one full tank). IMO, parepareho lang naman ang consumption ng Innova, bec. isa lang ang manufacturer nyan. Ang pinag-iiba is the traffic condition and the manner of driving, kung below 80 kph or above 100 kph. Because palaging traffic dito sa Cavite going to Makati, yan ang average ko. Dagdag gastos talaga ang traffic.

FC is mostly dependent on traffic conditions. I get around 10-11 km/liter ( VVTi). minsan 7km/l kapag ma-traffic.

Mga Bro, is it normal for the FC display to fluctuate during running mode. sometimes, it reaches 98 kpl, goes down to 11 kpl, then 44 kpl, then 13 kpl, something like that. has anyone here experienced also the same?

yung flactuation happens kung nasa instantanious FC mode ka, ako nag stick lang ako sa average mode..... 9.5 k/l ang fc ko, once a week ko lang na ibi byahe innova, pero every morning naka idle sya sa garahe for about 7 mins.

My unit is an A/T VVTi.
Share ko lang observations ko to get better FC.

-Do not force acceleration. From total stop nagstart ako sa "2" position then shift sa "3" past 10km/h and so on. Napansin ko kasi na pag "D" agad matagal magshift from firtst to 2nd gear.
-Sa highway drive maintain 70-80km/h because napansin ko sa 70km/h nagshishift sa last gear ang VVTi A/T.
-Practice very light foot sa gas pedal. Yung MID lagi sa instantaneous km/l reading at yung ang basis ko kung masyado ako nakatapak sa gas lalo na pag highway drive... When cruising between 70-80km/h instantaneous km/l reaches 18-20km/l
-Pag pababa ang daan hindi na ko nakatapak sa gas but nasa "D" ang gear.
-And the usual practice na when approaching traffic release ko na din gas pedal until magfully stop na nasa "D" ang gear
-Lastly, avoid long idle as this will greatly affect your FC. Nasubukan ko na to, nag park ako to buy something and naiwan sa loob si wife and mga in-laws(cyempre ayaw ko sila mainitan ). From average 13km/l bumaba sa 9.5km/l yung FC ko after 15mins idle

yung dating corolla ko automatic, laging D lang sya, di ako nag shift ng 2.
pag akyatan lang ako nag "2". ang alam ko lalong mag rev ang makina pag nasa 2 kaya mas malakas sa fuel.


yung MID ko off ko lahat ng info, clock na lang, kasi nabubuwisit lang ako sa FC ko, di na happy trip pag nakikita ko nababa so off ko na lang lahat.

Mine is D4D.
Last week when I travel to Manaoag, I register 11.1 kmpl. Thats from North towards SCTEX and SCTEX toward Pangasinan. Inside towns I register 10.2 kmpl. But this week, inside Manila I barely get higher than 9.4 kmpl.

after the scheduled 5000 KM PMS mag lapse na yung 3 months nya pero di ko pa naaabot yung 10,000 KM. ma void ba ang warranty if i pass the 3 months, and wait for the 10,000 KM reading before ko i PMS?

kasi nakalagay sa warranty book ay 3 months after the last PMS (which is the 5000 KM) or 10,000 KM which ever comes first....

bro, Mine is VVTi G M/T. tipid driving mode tawag ko dun sa mga cite ni sir louie_18 above hehehe,.. basta highway 60-80 km/h best sa FC. pag malapit na sa traffic, neutral na po me kaso pag my biglang sumingit yun ang nakakabwisit
pag nasa instantaneous km/l reading, mkikita mo nmn kung mataas o hindi ang FC. bag nag neutral ka malapit sa traffic, aabot ng 99kpl yung reading pag minsan.(sana laging ganun katipid anu lolzz)

thanks sir sa info mo,, napalagyan ko na ng fender flare kaso stepboard pinalagay ko hindi skirt.. i opted for shark fender na lang at ordinary stepboard,, ubos datung ko na eh..hirap mamili dyan sa banawe, dapat hindi ka titingin kahit saan kasi pag timingin ka, tiyak mabibili mo yung mga accessories grrrhh lolz
