That's how mine started. Sa umpisa, the noise will linger for a few seconds but will progressively gets worse until the noise just stays there.

I think it's at least a couple of months since the first time I started hearing the noise up until the alternator stops charging. So the next time you hear it, have it replaced asap.

    you guys are lucky.
my first and only warning, was when i couldn't start the car in the morning.
buti na lang, we had a charger at home. once charged and started, the next stop was the shop, where they fixed 'er up.
the battery re-charged and didn't need to be replaced.

Hi. I recently upgraded my headlight to Vland. Halogen pa ung default nya so hindi ganun kalakas ilaw. Any recommended LED replacement especially sa mga Vland users din? Also, parang hindi din maganda buga nya feeling ko masisilaw kasalubong ko. I hope someone can share their experience kung pano walkaround nito. I wasn't really able to test sa shop kasi maliwanag pa nung pina-install ko. TIA

    i have innova.
in my opinion, the stock headlights are ok naman.
dapat lang ay tama ang pagka adjust nang tapon.
and i don't have front windshield tint.

    and yes,
old, glazed-over headlight lenses do tend to diffuse the situation, making things less-apparent in the illumination dept.

Simplest and best solution (IMHO) is to remove the front tint.

    alas,
"it is, perhaps, the most difficult to do, for some car owners."
    heh heh.

for those who say that light front tint does not diminish their views in life,
i have tintless windshield innova, and tinted (lightly only; c/o previous owner) windshield innova.
and i tell you, tint DOES significantly diminish viewmanship.
those who argue otherwise, are just fooling themselves.

Oh well, the car is almost a decade old already so I guess somehow it deserve an upgrade aesthetically and functionality. I have ordered LED na & I hope to install it this weekend.

    heh heh!

    "... magpa-tint nga..."

    after the tint,
"ang dilim naman! magpa-LED upgrade nga..."

    in my experience,
a significant number of LED headlights cause uncomfortable and potentially dangerous glare to oncoming me.
